Croatia midfielder Luka Modric has described the upcoming World Cup clash with the Super Eagles of Nigeria as 50/50.
Modric was speaking with journalists on Friday ahead of the game billed for the Kaliningrad Stadium in Kaliningrad on Saturday night.
The Real Madrid playmaker said: “We know what are the qualities of Nigeria. Currently they may be the best African team. They have very fast players. In the opening game there can be no favorites. It will be a 50/50 game and this is how we will approach the game. Maybe other people favor us to be but we are not thinking about it, we are focused as much as possible on our game plan.”
