Inter Sign Keita Balde From Monaco On Loan

Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan have completed the loan signing of Senegalese international forward Keita Bobo Balde from AS Monaco.

The 23-year-old returns to Italy with Inter after one season at the French Ligue 1 outfit, where he scored 8 goals in 23 league appearances.

Keita Bobo Balde joins the Nerazurri on a season-long loan for €6m (£5.4m/$6.8m).

His contract includes an option of a permanent transfer for €42m plus a percentage of any future transfer.

He becomes the club’s seventh signing of the summer after Lautaro Martinez, Radja Nainggolan, Stefan de Vrij, Kwadwo Asamoah, Sime Vrsaljko and Federico Di Marco.

His agent Roberto Calenda praised Monaco for allowing his client to return to Italy.

Keita Bobo Balde joined the 2016/17 French champions from Italian capital club Lazio last summer.

Calenda said: “Monaco should be thanked.”

“They gave Keita back his smile, his serenity and his carefree feeling after years of tension and promises made and never kept by Lazio’s management.

“I’m not surprised they let him leave: the deal will benefit everyone. The player still has the desire to explode in this country, where he grew up as a footballer. At 23, it’s the perfect time to do it.” He concluded.

Keita Bobo Balde recently featured for Senegal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
