Former Premier League striker John Fashanu believes that ex-Nigeria stars Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha should be considered for the Super Eagles’ vacant managerial position, insisting that the nation should stop looking to recruit managers from European countries such as Sweden and Germany.

Speaking exclusively to luckyblock.com, Fashanu said: “There are some wonderful Nigerian players in the world of football at the moment,bsuch as Victor Osimhen or Alex Iwobi.
