Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, former Nigerian international, Dosu Joseph has urged Super Eagles midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf to utilise his chance in the senior national team.

Recall that was called up by Jose Peseiro as replacement for injured Wilfred Ndidi.

It’s the first time the Royal Antwerp midfielder will be involved with the Super Eagles.

However, in a chat with Completesports.com, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist stated that Yusuf has been given a big opportunity to represent Nigeria and he must utilise it.

“A lot of us have not seen that young guy but then he has been given the opportunity to represent the country.

“It depends on what he has to offer but I think the young guy will be happy to play for the Super Eagles.
