Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has praised the team’s fighting spirit despite being knocked out of the Europa League by Atalanta on Thursday.

Recall that after trailing Atalanta 3-0 from the home leg, the Reds could only manage a 1-0 win in Italy.

Reacting to the result, Van Dijk in a chat with TNT Sports said: “Firstly, credit to Atalanta.
