Cyriel Dessers was awarded very good rating after helping Rangers earn a shock 3-2 win at Real Betis in Group C of the Europa League on Thursday night.
Dessers provided the assist to put Rangers 1-0 up before scoring a brilliant solo goal to make it 2-1.
The win saw Rangers finish top of the group over second placed Sparta Prague while Betis were eliminated.
Following his impressive performance in the win, Glasgow Times rated Dessers seven over 10.
“Often criticised for his profligacy in front of goal but anything but the case in Seville,” Glasgow Times wrote.
“Inadvertently teed up Sima opener and then produced stunning wonder goal as he danced through defence before slotting home.”
