Samuel Chukwueze was not included in AC Milan squad as they thrashed Rennes 3-0 in the Europa League play-off first leg on Thursday.

Chukwueze only returned to the squad on Wednesday after featuring at the AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire.

A brace from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and a goal from Rafael Leao secured the comfortable win for Milan.

Loftus-Cheek opened the scoring in the 32nd minute and made it 2-0 on 47 minutes.

Leao then added the third goal in the 53rd minute.

In other results, Roma held Feyenoord to a 1-1 draw away, Galatasaray edged Sparta Prague 3-2, Shakhtar Donetsk and Marseille played 2-2 and Sporting Lisbon beat Young Boys 3-1.

Also, Benfica beat Toulouse 2-1, Lens and Freiburg played goalless and Braga lost 4-2 to visiting Qarabag.
