AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini says his former club made a mistake signing Samuel Chukwueze and termed the money invested on the Nigerian a waste.
Chukwueze moved to the Guiseppe Meaza Stadium from LaLiga club Villarreal for around €30m before the start of the current season.
The 24-year-old was a key performer for Villarreal last season.
The winger scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists across all competitions for the Yellow Submarine.

He has however scored just once in 12 outings for AC Milan this season.
“There was no need to sign Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic, and Chukwueze,” Maldini told La Republica.
