Carabao Cup: Chelsea Thrash Middlesbrough 6-1 In 2nd Leg To Reach Final

Chelsea have qualified for the final of this season’s Carabao Cup after thrashing Middlesbrough 6-1 in the semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

The Blues go through 6-2 on aggregate after they lost the first leg 1-0.

Chelsea have now reached the final of the Carabao Cup for the 10th time in their history.

Only Liverpool (13) have reached the final more times in the competition’s history.

Cole Palmer had a brace while the likes of Noni Madueke, Enzo Fernandez scored for Chelsea.

The last time Chelsea featured in the Carabao Cup final was in 2022 where they lost 11-10 on penalties to Liverpool.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men will take on either Liverpool or Fulham in the final.
