Victor Boniface has kind words for his Bayer Leverkusen teammate Florian Writz after the duo combined to inspire the club to a 3-0 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday night.

Boniface scored Die Werkself’s opening goal on 14 minutes with Writz providing the assist.

The 22-year-old reciprocated by setting up Writz for the third goal on 57 minutes.

“I’m really happy that I get to play together with Flo. He has a real special talent and that helps us all with our game,”he said after the game.

Boniface has now scored nine goals in 15 league appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side this season.

Writz has registered five goals from same number of matches.

Bayer Leverkusen top the Bundesliga standings with 39 points from 15 games.
