Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has showered praises on manager Zinedine Zidane for the job he did at the club in almost three years.
Zidane confirmed earlier on Thursday that he would be stepping down from his role as Real Madrid manager.
Karim Benzema praised fellow compatriot Zidane via his official Twitter handle. His tweet read: “I did not have the pleasure of playing with you brother but I had the immense honour to have you as a coach so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have given me and brought me.”
“Good luck with whatever comes next for you and yours, and maybe I’ll see you soon, God-willing.” the tweet continued.
