Creator of the Golden Boy Award, Francisco Franchi, says that England and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has got the midas touch as he turns everything into gold football wise.

The 20-year-old has taken Spain by storm this campaign scoring 15 goals and dishing out four assists in 17 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos.

He was recently handed the golden boy award which is annually given to the best young player in the world.

Franchi heaped praises on Bellingham after he bagged the top accolade.

“He has all the bases, he has excellent reinforced concrete to become one,” marca.com quoted Franchi as saying.

“But let’s see what happens from January onwards. For the moment he is the ‘King Midas’ of football. He touches something and he turns it into gold. It is very important to play with a smile.”
