Belgium: Super Sub Arokodare Fires Brace As Genk Thrash Champions Antwerp

Tolu Arokodare came off the bench to score a brace as KRC Genk defeated champions Royal Antwerp 3-0 in their Belgian Pro League clash at the Cegeka Arena.

Gambia forward Alieu Fadera gave Genk the lead on 10 minutes.

Arokodare took the place of Christopher Bonsu Baah in the 69th minute.

The striker poked home a low cross 15 minutes from time after he was set up by compatriot Yira Sor.

The 23-year-old scored Genk’s third goal of the game on 77 minutes.

He has now scored scored six goals in 19 league appearances for the Smurfs this season.

Arokodare is now the second player this season to score twice after coming on as a substitute in a Belgian Pro League game.

Alhassan Yusuf and Chidera Ejuke were both second-half substitutes for Antwerp.
