Bayern Slip Up Again In Title Race With Leverkusen After Defeat At Bochum

Bayern Munich’s poor run of form continued as they lost 3-2 away to Bochum in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

The Bavarians have suffered defeat in their last three games in all competitions.

Sunday’s loss means Bayern (50 points) are now eight points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen after 22 games played.

Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for Bayern on 14 minutes but in the 38th minute Takuma Asano equalized for Bochum.

With one minute left to play in the first half Bochum went 2-1 ahead through Keven Schlotterbeck.

In the 77th minute Bayern were reduced to 10 men after Dayot Upamecano received his second yellow card.

Bochum added a the third goal thanks to Kevin Stoger who converted from the penalty spot.
