Thomas Tuchel has said Arsenal are the best team in the Premier League and admits his Bayern Munich side are “a little behind” their opponents in Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg.

Bayern will be guests to the Gunners and go into the game in poor form, having suffered back-to-back Bundesliga defeats against Borussia Dortmund and Heidenheim following the March international break.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions since their Champions league last-16 first leg loss at Porto.

“Arsenal are currently the best team in the Premier League, all statistics prove that,” Tuchel said in his presser on Monday. “They’re in fantastic form.
