CAFCC: Rangers’ Aguda Relishes CS Faxien Draw Amidst Harsh Weather

Enugu Rangers midfielder Godwin Aguda has expressed delight about the ability of his team to grab a point against Cs Faxien in faraway Tunisia in their second group game in the CAF Confederations Cup tourney.

Rangers have not lost a single game during their campaign at the continent after eight matches as Pape Ousmane Sane slammed in the ball from four yards into the top corner of the net in the 73rd minute for an equalizer with the home side already in front at the 71st minute courtesy of Alaeddine Marzouki.

Temperature levels in Tunisia are far below that of Nigeria and Aguda could not fail to mention that.

“Talking about the weather, there’s cold here. It was very high. We tried our best to ensure that we never leave here empty handed and God granted our request and [crowned] our efforts,” he said.

“We came to get the maximum three point but unfortunately we got one and we still give glory to God for the one at least we never dropped the three-point and I think the one point to us is very important because, every point is very important in the group.” He continued.

The Flying Antelopes will face Etoile du Sahel in their third and fourth match of the campaign on the 24th of February in Tunisia while the return leg comes up on the 3rd of March in Enugu.
