The 2021 African Women’s Junior Handball Championship originally billed for early September in Conakry, Guinea has been moved by a week the Confederation of African Handball (CAHB) has announced.

CAHB secretary-general Charles Omoboumaho in a letter to the federations of participating nations stated the competition will now hold from 9 to 15 September rather than from 4 to 11 September.

Omoboumaho also announced new dates for the Women’s Youth Africa Nations Championship which will now hold from 14 to 20 September rather than from 12 to 19 September.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s national U20 women’s handball team continue their intensive preparations at the Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment in Abuja under the watchful eyes of Coach Bukola Duru and her assistant, Coach Isiaka Atanda ahead of the continental championship.
