AFCON 2023: Shettima Leads Presidential Delegation To Abidjan

Nigeria’s vice-president Kashim Shettima will lead a powerful federal government’s delegation to Cote d’Ivoire for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final.

According to a press release from the office of the vice-president, the country’s number one citizen, Bola Ahmed Tinubu directed Shettima to lead a presidential team to Abidjan for the highly anticipated encounter.

It would be recalled that Shettima was in attendance when the Super Eagles defeated South Africa 4-2 on penalties in the semi-final at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake on Wednesday.
