Abd’Allah Eyes Victory In ‘Explosive’ Plateau Utd Encounter (AUDIO)

Wikki Tourists coach Usman Abd’Allah says he is hopeful of a win against leaders Plateau United in what he described as an ‘explosive’ match, when both sides clash on Sunday in a Match Day 23 fixture in the current Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) campaign.

After a hard-fought 1-0 win at home against Nasarawa United in the last Match Day, Abd’Allah is hoping to make it back-to-back home wins when they face high-flying Plateau United in Bauchi.

While Wiiki Tourists are battling to stay afloat in the topflight, Plateau United, on the other hand, are contending for the league title, and will be aiming to consolidate on their leadership when both sides clash on Sunday.

“We already know that we are not going to get that match easy because Plateau are desperate to get the title this year, and they are on top with 40 points,” the former Enyimba coach told www.busybuddiesng.com .

“But all the same, we are preparing very well, we hope to get the three points at home. You know we are also desperate to be safe – to get out of the relegation zone and be comfortable.

“So, they are not also going to get this match easy. I think the match will be explosive and a lot of anxiety will be in the match. But at the end of the day, we hope to be the winners of that match. By the grace of God, we are going to get the 3 points at the end of Sunday’s match.”
