13 Players Arrive Black Stars Camp Ahead Of Friendly Game With Super Eagles

Thirteen players have arrived at the Black Stars training camp in Marrakech, Morocco, in preparation for Ghana’s upcoming international friendly against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

The 13 players already in camp include Joseph Wollacott, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Andre Ayew, Tariq Lamptey, and Antoine Semnyo.

Others are Kassim Nuhu, Abdul Samed Salis, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Patrick Kpozo, Seidu Alidu, Ernest Nuamah, Jordan Ayew, and Denis Odoi.

The Black Stars and Super Eagles will rekindle their rivalry on Friday, 22 March, 2024.

While the Eagles reached the AFCON 2023 final, Ghana crashed out in the group stage.

The last time both teams met was the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars held the Eagles to a 1-1 draw in Abuja after the first leg ended 0-0 in Kumasi.
