Holders Real Madrid have been handed a tough last 16 tie in the UEFA Champions League (UEFA) after they were paired with big spenders Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
The tie between Real Madrid and PSG headlines the round of 16 fixtures alongside the Chelsea vs. Barcelona tie after the UCL draw was conducted earlier on Monday afternoon at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
Premier League leaders Manchester City were given a relatively easy draw against Swiss champions FC Basel while city rivals Manchester United will face Spanish side Sevilla.
The remaining English sides namely Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool were drawn against last season’s finalists Juventus and FC Porto respectively.
1st leg matches will take place on February 13/14 and 20/21 with the return leg scheduled for March 6/7 and 13/14.
