World Cup Draw: Eagles To Face Nemesis Argentina, Croatia And Iceland In Group D

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face nemesis Argentina and the European duo of Croatia and debutants Iceland in Group D of next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The team’s opponents were known during the World Cup Draw held on Friday evening at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

Nigeria had previously faced Argentina only at past editions of the tournament on four occasions (1994, 2002, 2010 and 2014).
