Wolves Sign Duo On Permanent Deals

Newly promoted Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed permanent deals for the duo of Leo Bonatini and Ruben Vinegre ahead of the new season.

The two players helped the Midlands club win the English Championship title last season and have both been rewarded with upgrade from loan to permanent contracts.

Bonatini, 24, who scored 12 goals in 43 games for the club last season, has signed a four-year contract following his move from Saudi Professional League side Al-Hilal for an undisclosed fee.

On his own part, Portuguese defender Vinagre, 19, joins the Nuno Santos’ side from French giants Monaco on a five-year deal.

He made nine appearances during the club’s English Championship campaign last season.

The duo become the third and fourth summer signing at the club after Portugal international goalkeeper Rui Patricio and Mexico striker Raul Jimenez.

“We are delighted to secure the services of two players we rate very highly, and we believe can play a huge part in our plans for our first season back in the Premier League and beyond.” Wolves sporting director Kevin Thelwell spoke to the club’s website about the transfers.
