English Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers have gained promotion to the Premier League to end a six-year wait.

Premier League football for next season was confirmed after Fulham, in 3rd place on the table, were forced to a 1-1 draw at home to Brentford.

Fulham needed to win all the remaining four games to have any chance of catching Wolves but Neal Maupay’s injury-time equaliser earned Brentford a 1-1 draw and ensured that the Championship leaders will return to the top flight next season after a six-year absence (2012).
