Bayern Munich can finally claim an unprecedented ninth Bundesliga title if they beat Borussia Moenchengladbach at the Allianz Arena and their former manager Pep Guardiola could claim his third Premier League title in five years if they beat Chelsea at the Etihad in what is a dress rehearsal for the Champions League final.
Porto’s midweek slip up means unbeaten Sporting Lisbon can win a first Portuguese Primeira Liga title in a decade by beating Boavista on Monday and in France, the top four who are separated by just six appear to have winnable fixtures and with just three games left of the season, it promises to be a gripping end to the Ligue One season.
