Watford Manager Praises Isaac Success After Reading Heroics

Watford manager Javi Gracias praised the performance of Super Eagles striker Isaac Success after he led the Hornets into the Carabao Cup third round with a 2-0 win at Reading on Wednesday night.

The former Granada man scored the opening goal in the second round clash on 36 minutes before Portuguese forward Domingos Quina wrapped up the victory in the 62nd minute.

In his post-match presser, the Spanish tactician said: “Today he (Success) has scored a good goal for the team.”

“I spoke with every player before the game and tried to explain that they don’t have to show anything different than they usually do in training, in pre-season.

“They are good professionals – the only thing that changed is the opportunity to play. It is very good for the group that they enjoy more minutes.” He concluded.

The strike was Isaac Success’ first goal since he scored in a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth in the Premier League.
