Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets are through to the final of WAFU B U17 Tournament after a 1-0 victory over Burkina Faso in Friday’s semifinal.
The victory also secured their place at the U17 AFCON in Morocco later this year.
Michael Emmanuel Papo scored the only goal of the encounter in the 77th minute to book Nigeria’s place in the final where they will take on Côte d’Ivoire who beat Niger Republic in the other semifinal.
