Former Super Eagles Captain and goaltender, Vincent Enyeama took to social media to celebrate his wife, Promise and their thirteen years in wedlock. 

The couple wedded on June 10, 2006, and have stayed on together thirteen years now. 

“Promise Vincent, you have been awesome all these 13 years. I am so blessed. You deserve a medal made of materials above the price of rubies.

“If I had the opportunity to make the choice again, I would gladly still choose you. You are a miracle to me. Thank you for accepting to put up with me. I love you.” he posted on Instagram.

Enyeama retired from the Nigeria men’s Senior National Team in 2015 after a bust-up with former coach Sunday Oliseh after he was stripped of the national team’s captaincy.

The former Lille OSC goalie’s football career is currently on hold after he drew the curtain on his relationship with the Ligue 1 outfit in September 2018 by mutual consent.
