Real Madrid produced a commanding performance to dispatch Barcelona 2-0 in the Spanish Super Cup second leg game at the Bernabeu, winning the tie 5-1 on aggregate.
Two first half goals from Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema was enough to Real Madrid their 10th Spanish Super Cup title, even without the suspended Cristiano Ronaldo.
21-year-old Asensio scored yet another stunning goal to put Real ahead as early as the 4th minute, to leave Barcelona goalkeeper ball watching.
