Pogba, who captained Manchester United on the night, was substituted in the 18th minute with a suspected hamstring injury after a collision with FC Basel midfielder.
Manchester United started their Champions League campaign on a comfortable note as goals from substitute Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford earned United a 3-0 victory against the Swiss Champions.
