On Friday, Coutinho reportedly handed a transfer request to Liverpool, as the 25-year-old midfielder tries to force a move to Barcelona.
However, reports in Liverpool suggests that the pulling down of the image is not in any way linked to Coutinho’s purported move to Barcelona, as the store is only preparing for their Autumn fashion launch on Monday.
Liverpool have reiterated their strong stance concerning the future of Philippe Coutinho, insisting that “no offers for Philippe will be considered”, having rejected Barcelona’s second bid worth £90.4m for the Brazilian midfielder.
