Following midweek’s 2-2 draw at home against Sevilla in the Champions League, Jurgen Klopp’s men were frustrated to another 1-1 draw at Anfield by a compact Burnley team, in a game that yet again highlighted Liverpool’s defensive woes.

Mohammed Salah pulled Liverpool level in the 30th minute after Scott Arfield opened the scoring three minutes earlier.
Dominic Solanke came close to scoring the second for Liverpool but his side-footed volley could only find the bar as Burnley picked up another point on the road.
