Vidal Suffers Injury Setback In Bayern Training

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has suffered an injury setback in his bid to return to fitness.

The Chilean star reportedly clutched his right knee during a practice match between reserve on Sunday morning and had to be assisted off the training pitch via the shoulders of teammate Franck Ribéry and goalkeeping coach Toni Tapalovi.

The former Bayer Leverkusen player thereafter left the training complex on a golf cart.

It remains to be seen whether Vidal would be fit for his side’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) semifinal clash with European champions Real Madrid.
