Former Super Eagles Winger Victor Moses has been rated Nigeria’s most popular footballer on social media.

Moses was placed 28 in the list of top 50 African footballers with the largest digital community by Result Sports, a digital sports media outfit.

Each footballer was rated based on the number of followers amassed on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

The Chelsea winger was loaned to Fenerbahce in January 2019 in an 18-months deal but has only made four appearances this season.

He announced his retirement from the Nigeria national team in August 2018 to focus on his club career.

Everton’s midfielder Alex Iwobi is the only other Nigerian on the list and is placed 41 with 2, 410, 175 followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
