The venue for the March 23 friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Poland has finally been confirmed.
According to the Polish Football Association (PZPN), the pre-World Cup friendly match will take place at the Municipal Stadium in Wrocław at 2045 hrs local time.
There had earlier been fears about the match after both parties failed to reach a conclusion on the match venue for the game.
The football body also confirmed that the national team will face another World Cup-bound team South Korea at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, four days after the Eagles friendly (March 27, 2018).
The 42-000 capacity venue referred to as ‘Municipal Stadium’ is the third largest stadium in Poland.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in Group D at next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland while Poland are in Group H with Colombia, Senegal and Japan.
