Vandrezzer Appoints Madaki Mustapha Alfred To Coaching Staff

NNL side Vandrezzer FC have appointed Madaki Mustapha Alfred to their backroom staff as an assistant coach.

The 46-year-old who has signed a one-year contract will assist head coach Rafael Everton and work closely with the VFC international scouting network, the club said.

A VFC statement said Madaki who holds a CAF B-License certificate and the United State Soccer Federation D-License was appointed because he fit with the club’s core ethos of “identifying and developing talent”. 

“Vandrezzer is a global platform and I feel opportuned to be part of the team. I want to achieve many successes here,” Madaki told the club’s website.

The Edo indigene has 20 years of coaching experience, having started his managerial journey with Perfect Touch Football Club, Lagos in 2001.

In 2019, he won the Nationwide League, Division 1 with Joy Cometh FC – which earned the club promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The former Remo Stars assistant coach also has a good knowledge of youth and grassroots football – having managed Destiny Boys FC and Talent Football Academy in the past.
