Valencia manager Marcelino has had a Christmas to forget after he suffered a slight car crash on Sunday.
The 52-year old was driving home on Christmas Eve when he crashed his car into a wild boar on the motorway.
The car crash took place between Logrono and Bilbao in the northern part of Spain.
The Spanish tactician was thereafter “given the all-clear” following examinations at the hospital.
Marcelino has masterminded Valencia’s rise to the top in the Spanish La Liga since his appointment in the summer.
Valencia (34 points) currently occupy 3rd position behind Barcelona (45 points) and Atletico Madrid (36 points).
