Usain Bolt Makes Debut For Central Coast Mariners In Friendly Win (Photos)

Athletics legend Usain Bolt made his first appearance for Australian League side Central Coast Mariners during their friendly win over Central Coast Select XI on Friday.

The 100m and 200m world record holder came on for the final 20 minutes of the game which ended 6-1 in his side’s favour.

Usain Bolt, 32, is on trial in Australia in a bid to win a contract with the club.

He made an appearance wearing jersey number 95 with 9,958 fans in attendance.

After the game, he said: “I think the first 15 was pretty good, the last five I could feel my back getting a little bit tight.

“But overall I wasn’t too tired so that’s a good sign.

“I think probably in the next month I should be up and running at speed.” Usain Bolt concluded.
