Ukraine Friendly: Anderson Esiti Replaces Injured Ndidi, Idowu Also Called Up

PAOK Salonika of Greece Midfielder Anderson Esiti has been called up to the Super Eagles squad as a replacement for the injured Wilfred Ndidi ahead of 10 September friendly against Ukraine at the Dnipro Stadium.

The 25-year old former Estoril and KAA Gent defensive midfielder who has been capped twice by the senior national team replaces the Leicester midfielder who picked up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw at Chelsea.

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has also called up fringe national team player Bryan Idowu to the squad taking the number of invited players for the friendly against Ukraine to 24.
