UEL Review: Arsenal, Milan Edge Closer To Last 16 Spot With Dominant Away Performance

UEFA Europa League (UEL) favourites Arsenal and AC Milan have moved closer to the round of 16 after they dominated respective opponents in their round of 32 1st leg games to produce big away results.

Arsenal defeated their Swedish hosts Oestersunds 3-0 courtesy goals from Nacho Monreal, Sotirios Papagiannopoulos (own goal) and Mesut Ozil with Tom Petersson missing a late penalty for the hosts while Patrick Cutrone, Ricardo Rodriguez (penalty) and Fabio Borini were on target for AC Milan in a 3-0 win at Ludogorets Razgrad.

In the pick of the other games, Borussia Dortmund saw off Atalanta 3-2 in a thrilling five-goal encounter at the Signa Iduna Park with Michy Batshuayi scoring a brace.
