UEFA Women’s Champions League: Chelsea Beat Bayern; City In Dominant Win

Chelsea Ladies have taken a big step towards the last 16 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League after they defeated their counterparts from Bayern Munich 1-0 at home.

Drew Spence’s 10th minute strike was enough for Emma Hayes’ side ahead of the second leg slated for Wednesday, October 11 in Germany.

The other English representative in the Round of 32, Manchester City were more dominant against their Austria opponents St. Polten as they won 3-0 in their away leg. Steph Houghton and Nikita Parris were on the scoresheet for Nick Cushing’s team.

Their second leg clash is expected to take place Manchester on Thursday, October 11, 2017.
