UCL Review: Juventus Produce Impressive 2nd Half Comeback To Secure Quarterfinal Place Ahead Of Tottenham As City Join Old Lady In The Next Round

Juventus have qualified for the UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarterfinal after the Italian champions produced a second half comeback to beat their hosts Tottenham 2-1 for a 4-3 aggregate win in their round of 16 tie.

South Korean international Son Heung-Min gave Tottenham Hotspur a 1st half lead before two second half goals in three minutes from Gonzalo Higuain and Paolo Dybala overturned the result in the visitors’ favour.

In the other round 16 tie on Wednesday night, Manchester City secured a 5-2 aggregate win over FC Basel despite losing 2-1 with an under-strength side at the Etihad Stadium.

Gabriel Jesus marked his first start with an early goal since sustaining a knee injury last December before two goals either side of halftime from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Michael Lang secured an impressive win for the visitors though they fell short of qualification for the last eight.
