UCL: Hargreaves Hails 17-Year-Old Barca Debutant For Stopping Osimhen

Former Manchester United star Owen Hargreaves, has hailed Barcelona’s 17-year-old defender Pau Cubarsi for stopping Victor Osimhen in Tuesday’s Champions League.

Barcelona progressed to the quarter-finals following a 3-1 win in the second leg, round of 16 clash.

The five-time Champions League winners advanced 4-2 on aggregate.

Cubarsi, meanwhile, was handed his Champions League debut and he delivered a brilliant performance up against Osimhen.

He capped his debut with the Man of the Match award.

“He [Cubarsi] was the star of the show,” Hargreaves told TNT Sports via Metro.

“Yamal’s different because he’s obviously the winger. This kid [Cubarsi] was picking out passes for fun, he made it look so easy.

“He was physical when he needed to be, for a Spanish centre-back to be as physical against somebody like Osimhen
