The Flying of Eagles of Nigeria will put up their training camp in Germany ahead of the FIFA 2019 U20 World Cup in Poland, the team officials have revealed.
Prior to the 2015 U20 World Cup in New Zealand, the Flying Eagles pitched their tents in Nuremberg, a city in the Germany’s Federal state of Bavaria.
Former Coach Manu Garba was reported to have chosen Germany as the Eagles’ training camp considering the similarity of the weather with that of New Zealand.
Earlier in the week, Coach Paul Aigbogun’s men were pitted in Group D alongside Qatar, USA and Ukraine ahead of the competition in Poland.
Nigeria will open their 12th campaign at the quadrennial contest against Qatar on May 24.
