Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi is being targeted for recruitment by Antalyaspor, reports from Sky Sport Italia indicate.

Obi, who has been plagued by series of injuries, joined Chievo from Torino for €2 million but his playing time has dwindled.

In 11 appearances for “The Flying Donkeys”, the 27-year-old has scored one goal to attract the interest of the Turkish club.

The reports indicate the former Inter man is wanted on loan but Chievo would prefer to cash out on the struggling striker.

Obi has found it hard to return to Gernot Rohr’s squad after last summer’s World Cup in Russia and will hope to get better playing chances if he wants to make the 2019 AFCON squad.
