Transfer: Nigerian Midfielder Bokiri Joins Spanish Side Sporting De Huelva

Former Falconets of Nigeria midfielder Joy Bokiri has completed her move to Spanish women’s topflight outfit Sporting De Huelva.

She joins Antonio Toledo’s squad from Greek side Elpides Karditsas to become the club’s second signing this term.

The 19-year old had earlier secured a transfer from Bayelsa Queens to Karditsas on a one-year deal last summer but her stay in Greece proved to be a brief one.

She becomes the third African in the squad after Rutendo Makore of Zimbabwe and Cameroon’s Genevieve Ngo.

The Spanish outfit are currently placed ninth on the log with 21 points after 19 games ahead of their game against 11th placed Espanyol on Sunday at Ciutat Esportiva Dani.

The midfielder could make her debut in the aforementioned game.
