Transfer: Ideye Set To Officially Join La Liga Strugglers Malaga

Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye is set to officially join Spanish La Liga strugglers Malaga from Chinese side Tianjin Teda before the end of the current transfer window.

The 29-year old has already passed his medicals at the Andalusia club and his transfer is expected to be announced shortly.

Brown Ideye joined Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda from Greek champions Olympiacos in January 2017 in a €12m deal after putting pen to paper on a two-and-half year contract worth €3.5m deal per annum.

A move to Malaga could help put 28-cap Ideye back in the frame for Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup selection.

The former Sochaux and West Brom star has scored 6 goals for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
