Wikki Tourists striker Stephen Gopey has joined Ukraine Premier league outfit FC Inhulets Petrove on a 3-year deal, the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side has confirmed.

The 21-year-old forward joined Wikki from Rivers United during the mid-season transfer window of the current NPFL campaign, and netted five times in as many games before moving to Ukraine.

“Wikki Tourists FC prolific attacker Stephen Gopey has signed a three-year contract with a Ukrainian league side Inhulets FC,” a short club statement read.

The former Lobi Stars and Abia Warriors striker last featured for Wikki in a Match Day 25 encounter against Akwa United in Bauchi, where he grabbed a brace.

Founded in 2013, Inhulets finished 12th in the 2020/2021 Ukraine Premier League season.
