Tottenham Thrash Hapless Manchester United To Maintain Perfect Start

North London giants Tottenham Hotspur continued their perfect start to the new Premier League season after they recorded an impressive 3-0 win at the home of Manchester United in a week three clash played on Monday night.

After a largely uninspiring first half, England international striker Harry Kane headed the away side into the lead from a Kierian Trippier with five second half minutes gone before Brazilian forward Lucas Moura added a second goal with a fine strike two minutes later.

133 seconds separated both Tottenham strikes with Harry Kane getting his first goal at Old Trafford.

The impressive Lucas Moura added a third goal in the 84th minute to wrap up the convincing victory for Spurs.

The win was Tottenham’s second victory away at Manchester United in the Premier League era and it lifts the visitors above Bournemouth, Manchester City, Watford and Chelsea into second spot behind leaders Liverpool.

On the other hand, Manchester United are down by four places from 9th to 13th spot.
