Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Tottenham after just 17 months in charge.
Ryan Mason has been placed in charge until the end of the season.
The announcement comes just hours after the Premier League club announced its plans to join a European Super League.
The 58-year-old had been in charge of Spurs since November 2019 after taking over from Mauricio Pochettino and guided Spurs to sixth last season.
The Portuguese manager’s original deal with the north London club had been due to run until the end of the 2023 season.
But he leaves Spurs in seventh, with the club having picked up two points from their past three league games, and exiting the Europa League in March.
Spurs face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
